Hunting Zones

New Hunting Zones

Antharas' Lair (World Session Zone)

  • a special world hunting zone: Antharas' Lair (World Session Zone) has been added;
  • world hunting zones are special zone to hunt together with players from other servers;
  • it’s possible to enter the zone at certain times only;
  • entrance is available via special hunting zone interface;

  • Antharas' Lair Time Stone can be obtained from monsters 79-80 level in the Tower of Insolence;
  • the following command channel bosses are available in the zone:
  1. Antharas’ Avatar Monster is available from 10.00 p.m. till 10:30 p.m. (server time). When the boss appears, the ground starts shaking;
  2. Antharas’ Follower Karim is available every hour from 10 minutes to any hour till 20 minutes past that hour (for example, from 6.50 till 7.20 server time);

 

  • a player can get the following items as trophies from the bosses:
  1. Recipe: Flame Sword’s Blade and Recipe: Death Knight’s Flame Sword;
  2. Dragon Blood: material required to create Death Knight’s Flame Sword (for more info, see Items);
  3. Dye Powder: Can be exchanged for Best Dye Pack.
  4. Grade A armor and weapon;

 

  • to leave Antharas' Lair, a character should first leave the common monster-inhabited territory and get to the peaceful zone, and then return to his own server;
  • scrolls of escape from the zone can only be used inside Antharas' Lair;
  • the functions of exchange, trade and item upgrade are limited in the zone;
  • dead characters will be resurrected at the entrance on the peaceful territory;
  • Antharas' Lair is a zone with Earth attribute;
  • in Antharas' Lair the effect increasing speed can be obtained (+50) by passing through vortex “arches”; the effect lasts for 10 seconds and is cast every time a character moves near the vortex.

Alligator Island (special zone)

  • a special (session) hunting zone has been added – Alligator Island;
  • PvP is available in the zone;
  • having teleported to the zone, your character can talk to NPC Deton, in order to teleport to a different part of the zone;
  • every hour a Shining Treasure Chest appears in the zone, containing items to replenish random craft bar.
  • Alligator Island is a zone with Water attribute.

Changed Hunting Zones

Cruma Tower

The hunting zone has been changed:

  • at the entrance to Cruma Tower there’s an NPC called Ivory Tower Wizard Carsus. Characters need to talk to him in order to use an elevator to move between the floors;
  • teleportation and My Teleports cannot be used inside Cruma Tower. If the game is restarted, the character will be moved to the closest township;
  • now Cruma Tower is a zone with Fire attribute;
  • some constructions have been removed from the 2nd and the 3rd floors of the tower;
  • now the zone is dwelt by monsters of the following levels:
  1. Cruma Tower, 3rd floor: monsters level 65-70
  2. Cruma Tower, 2nd floor: monsters level 71-75;
  • Raid Boss Core remains unchanged;
  • Orcish Treasure, Orc King’s Treasure, evolution stones, B-grade equipments and materials for crafting them can be obtained as trophies from the monsters;
  • Clan Stronghold Device should be captured (the effect is only available to members of the clan which captured Clan Stronghold Device) in order to get the effect with XP bonus and SP +15%;
  • if Clan Stronghold Device (previously owned by no one) is captured, the emblem and the title of the owning clan are shown above it;
  • having captured Clan Stronghold Device, characters can get a buff if they talk to the Device;
  • the captured Clan Stronghold Device can be destroyed by attacks. In such a case the Device will reappear in 5 seconds, so it could be captured;
  • Clan Stronghold Device is activated at 9.50 a.m. and p.m. (server time), and at 10.00 a.m. and p.m. They get the status of owned by no one.

 

Additional changes

  • now when a caster and a servitor attack monsters together, guardian monsters appear only as a response to the caster’s actions;
  • the location and the amount of monsters in such zones as Plains of the Lizardmen and Silent Valley has been changed;
  • the location of some monsters in Dragon Valley has been changed;
  • now the monsters from the following hunting zones: Sea of Spores, War-Torn Plains, Plains of Glory, Silent Valley, Enchanted Valley, Fields of Massacre, Plains of the Lizardmen, can drop B-grade armor and spellbooks of each type;
  • the chances of getting the Burn effect obtained when hunting special monsters on Primeval Island, have been changed;
  • the power of active skills and the effects of passive skills of some monsters in the Tower of Insolence have been changed;
  • monster levels in the following locations have been increased: Tower of Insolence: 6th floor, Orc Barracks (all monsters); Dragon Valley (monsters: Maluk Succubus Turen, Cave Maiden, Cave Servant Captain, Cave Keeper, Cave Banshee, Dragon Bearer Warrior, Dragon Bearer Archer).
  • Curse of Zaken is not effective on Devil’s Isle anymore;
  • There are no more PvP zones in Orc Barracks.

— The information that the skills cannot be used at one time has been added to the description of Focus Death, Focus Chance, Focus Power skills.

— Now Skill List Stigma of Shilen, Mass Stigma of Shillien, Rapid Recharge skills are auto-available skills.

— The Divine Beam skill effect has been changed in PvP: the Divine Beam Resistance effect applies to the target and decreases Received Divine Beam Damage with 30 power; the effect does not apply to monsters and bosses.

— Death Knight’s standard attack range has been changed;

— Now the Ultimate Death Knight Transformation skill significantly increases holy defense (including Divine Beam) and decreases penalty of Received Healing;

— Typos have been corrected, descriptions of some skills have been changed.

— 1-3 places bonuses description has been added to the Ranking System interface.

— The Worthy Warrior Transformation Appearance for 1-3 places among races has been changed: Human, Elf, Orc, and Dwarf. The Appearance of Fighter and Mystic for Human and Orc looks different.

— Death Knight changes Appearance of their cloak automatically, they get the Worthy Warrior Bonus skill instead of the Worthy Warrior Transformation skill.

— Previously saved  Transformation skills have been removed from the quick access panel due to changes of the Worthy Warrior skills.

— Passive skill which is activated when using mount transformation (3rd class transfer) and decreases combat stats has been changed:

* the skill name: Dissonance → Mount;

* the skill icon has been changed to better fit with the skill conception;

* The information that the skill decreases combat characteristics has been added to the skill description.

—Now the following skills are physical skills and their Casting Time depends on Atk. Speed: Hellfire, Burning Field, Frozen Field, Lightning Storm, Summon Siege Golem, Summon Wild Hog Cannon, Sweeper, Spoil;

*From now, if a character doesn’t attack a vital spot, common damage (non-zero) will be inflicted. 

* Common damage might be critical (if the vital spot attack is unsuccessful), a character can avoid the hit. It depends on the attacker’s accuracy and the target’s evasion.

* The list of changed skills (including Transcendent Skills) Back Blow, Mortal Blow, Deadly Blow, Lethal Blow;

The Shadow Step skill’s cooldown and casting time have been changed:

— the issue when during auto-hunt sometimes buffs are applied automatically (For example, Shield, Might, Wind Walk, Magic Barrier and so on.) even there are activated debuffs (For example, Block Defense, Block Wind Walk) which cancel such buffs, has been fixed;

—  the issue when skills such as Burning Field, Lightning Storm, Frozen Field, Death Blind ignored debuffs Resistance has been fixed

— the “inflicted damage depends on a character’s P. Atk” inscription has been added to the description of Burning Field, Frozen Field, Lightning Storm skills.

— The information about the need to equip a one-handed sword has been added to the description of Flaming Body and Speed skills.

— Cooldown of Holy Strike and Dark Strike skills (Paladin and Avenger classes) has been changed: 1 sec. → 5 sec. Now the cooldown is fixed. 

— the issue when the debuff duration which blocks M.Skill (10 sec.)  in the description of Death Sting skill was different from real duration (3 sec.) has been fixed.

— the issue is when the power of Might of Heaven skill (Lv. 13) was understated and inconsistent regarding nearby skill levels (82 → 92) has been fixed;

— the issue when the equipped cloak wasn't displayed when White Guardian Transformation skill is applied has been fixed.

— the Death Guard skill description has been changed: the clarification about  long-range attacks block has been added;

— the Dark Horror skill duration has been changed: 2 sec. → 3 sec.

Transcendent Skills

— Now the Spinning Slasher skill doesn’t become “Transcendent” (mass) entering a Transcendent Instance Zone;

— the Soul Smash skill doesn’t transform into a transcendent skill;

— the Transcendent Frost Bolt skill has been changed:  60 sec. → 30 sec.

Some parameters of Transcendent skills have been changed:

* Transcendent Bleed Skill Cooldown has been changed: 5 sec. → 1 sec.

The Over-hit effect has been added to the following magic skills: Transcendent Prominence, Transcendent Hurricane, Transcendent Blaze Quake,  Transcendent Twister, Transcendent Hydro Blast, Transcendent Death Spike, Transcendent Aqua Swirl, Transcendent Might of Heaven.

Bosses

  • Bleed /Poison Resistance have been added to bosses;
  • the following bosses are now immune to speed reducing effect from the Throw Dagger skill: Zaken, Orfen, Core, Baium, Queen Ant;
  • a new solo-boss has been added level 76 – Pet Legion’s Master Atingo, which appears in a random place in the following zones: Plains of the Lizardmen, Dragon Valley, Tower of Insolence (floors 1-5), Orc Barracks;
  • there can be 1 boss in each zone at the same time (i.e. 4 in all zones);
  1. With a certain chance, Atingo summons one of the pets or a Sin Eater. The summoned minions are invincible for 10 seconds. The invincibility is removed at once when Atingo is dead;
  2. If Atingo has summoned a pet, then a character will receive a sealed necklace to summon the pet as a trophy;
  3. If Atingo has summoned a Sin Eater, a character may get various items as a reward, but there’ll be no necklace;
  4. The chance of summoning a pet are significantly lower than the chance of summoning a Sin Eater;

Pets

Pets have been added to the game:

  • pets are the animals that help the character during the fight;
  • pets can use special items and skills;
  • there are 6 types of pets: Wolf, Buffalo, Tiger, Kookaburra, Dragon, Hawk;
  • each pet has unique skills;
  • it is possible to check the stats, skills and other information about the pet with help of the special interface;
  • pets can level up together with the character, get exp from hunting. They can also evolve and become stronger;
  • it is possible to summon pets not only in hunting zones, but also in dimensional zones, Olympiad and time zones;
  • it is important to feed the pet, in contrast to the servitors; they won’t obey if they are hungry;
  • it is possible to summon pets with the help of special items that shall be present in the character’s inventory.

Obtaining and summoning the pet

  • It is necessary to kill Atingo boss and his pet to receive an item that makes it possible to summon the pet. The item that can be obtained depending on the pet summoned by Atingo. The list of the needed items is stated below:

  • the pet is summoned with help of the Necklace and is recalled with the skill “recall a pet”.
  • there are some restrictions for the pet summoning:
  1. it is possible to summon only one pet;
  2. the pet can be summoned together with the servitor;
  3. the pet cannot be summoned during the battle;
  4. the pet disappears and cannot be summoned if the character flies on Wyvern.
  • if the pet takes part in a fight, he receives exp and levels up;
  • if the level of the pet is higher than the one of the character on 20+ levels, the character can’t control him;
  • if a pet  is summoned, a couple of special panels appear: the one which shows Beast Soul/Spirit Shots and the one to manage a level of the pet’s HP for the automatic potions usage;
  • it is important to feed the pet, when the pet is summoned he becomes hungry, especially during the fight;
  • if the pet’s satiety is lower than 50%, the penalties are being applied;
  • it is not possible to unsummon the pet if his satiety level is lower than 1%;
  • if satiety level reaches 0, the pet will stop fighting and it won’t be possible to control him;
  • it is possible to replenish the satiety level with Pet Food. The item can be put to the shortcut of the character and can be used automatically;
  • if a level of the pet is higher than the one of the monster on 11 and more, neither the character nor the pet get EXP and drop;
  • a set of positive effects (such as Shield, Might etc., except for the unique class buffs) are inflicted on the pets automatically;
  • Sayha’s Blessing has an effect on the pet;
  1. if the character doesn’t have Sayha’s Blessing, the pet also receives penalties from it’s absence; 
  2. when the character receives EXP, Sayha’s Blessing is being consumed according the number of EXP that was received by him;
  3. when the EXP is being received only by the pet, Sayha’s Blessing is being consumed according the number of EXP that was obtained by the pet;
  • if the pet dies, he doesn’t lose EXP, however, the character gets debuff. If he dies again, debuff increases. If the character summons another pet,  If the character summons another pet, the debuff will be applied to the new one;
  • if the dead pet is summoned, his HP/MP restore;
  • if the character that has summoned the pet dies, his pet is being unsummoned automatically.

Pet Items

  • weapon, helmet, upper body, lower body, gloves, shoes, necklace, rings, and earrings (it is possible to use no more than 2 rings and 2 earrings) of the character can be equipped on the pet;
  • augmented weapon, event items, time-limited equipment received for the training can’t be equipped on the pet;
  • shields, symbols, pendants, agathions/talismans bracelets, attribute necklaces can’t be equipped on the pet;
  • it is not possible to use the active skills of the weapon equipped on the pet;
  • the pet uses basic attack, no matter which type of weapon is equipped;
  • Some equipment items do not give the same stats as stated in their descriptions, the final stats are calculated based on a special formula different from that of a character's one.
  • P. Accuracy, Atk. Speed, P. Critical Rate are fixed, despite the type of equipped weapon;
  • there is a type of weapon that fits each pet:

  • Helvetia, Holly, Chortie, Reahen and Mathorn, the Grocers that were previously selling Beast Soulshots and Beast Spiritshots, do not sell them anymore.

  • Some pet skills are present in the interface but it is not possible to use them (their icons are dark); the books for these skills aren’t available in the game now, they will be added in the next major updates:

  3. Tiger: Hide, Strong Bite;

Random Craft System

The following changes were made in the Random Craft system:

  • a chance that Boss Weapon will appear has been increased 5 times;
  • a chance that D-grade equipment will appear has been halved;
  • rare items, such as A-grade Weapon/Armor Coupon, obtaining rate has been increased;
  • Golden Pack won’t appear anymore. All the items that were inside of it will appear as all the others, in a separate cell;
  • from now on, it is possible to get the following items through random craft system:

Olympiad 

Olympiad and Team Match have been changed the following way:

  • Olympiad and 3 vs. 3 Team Match are not taking place anymore, they have been changed to 3 vs. 3 Olympiad;
  • All the Heroes status that were received ... 9-14 of March will be reset on Wednesday, 18th March, the winners will become heroes for 2 days only; all the 1 vs 1 Olympiad ratings won’t be counted anymore (the information about Olympiad Points, battles etc. will be deleted);
  • Olympiad Points are obtained automatically, according to the 3 vs. 3 Olympiad result;
  • characters who have left the arena, won’t get any points.
  • Olympiad winner is decided according to the number of Olympiad Points;
  1. if two teams have the same number of points, the winner will be chosen, according to the number of wins, win percentages and XP;
  • the way of counting additional points have been changed:
  1. if the average number of team points is higher than those of the opponent’s team, 1 point is being subtracted from the base number of points (100 points) for a win/lose;
  2. if the average number of team points is lower than those of the opponent’s team, 1 point is being added from the base number of points (100 points) for a win/lose;
    — a character will receive Glorious Circlet (7-day) if he wins 3 vs. 3 Olympiad:

Show your location

  • a new function "Show your location", has been added. It makes it possible to share your position in the chat;
  • a teleportation icon will appear in the selected chat if /sharedposition command is written (or the corresponding button is used);
  1. it is possible to use this function in Tower of Insolence;
  2. it is not possible to use this function in some places: 3 vs 3 Olympiad, special hunting zones, Heavenly Rift, Orc Barracks;
  • position sharing costs 50 L-coins;
  • 400 L-coins are being consumed in case of teleportation (for each of 5 teleportations);
  • it is possible to find out information about the location that has been shared by clicking on the teleportation icon;
  • L-coins are consumed even if the character teleports to the position that he has shared himself. Please pay attention when clicking on teleportation icon, not to spend L-coins unintentionally;
  • it is possible to teleport to the same place up to 5 times;
  • it is possible to teleport to the shared position within 24 hours;
  • it is possible to teleport to the shared position even if the character who has shared it is not in the game.

 

Other

Changes

  • now, in case the slots of Soulshot/HP Potions auto-use disappear, they reappear again if the interface is reset by pressing <ALT + L>;
  • the territory of Giran Castle siege has been extended: monsters don't appear in the nearby Gorgon Flower Garden;
  • now, if the character is located in an instanced zone, it’s impossible to use teleportation in the dialog window by clicking the question mark in the notifications menu in the right lower corner of the screen;
  • now ratings don't show characters who haven’t logged in for more than 7 days;
  • Scroll: Restore Equipment has been added to Grocers’ saleslist;
  • the terms of supplies auto-use are now identical to those of skill auto-use: Supplies will be used if there’s less than 3 sec. of the remaining supplies effect (previously supplies were reused upon termination of effects);
  • now party members can attack the same target in polite hunting mode;
  • the landscape of Plains of the Lizardmen has been changed;
  • the list of clans in clan search system can now be sorted by clan level;
  • the appearance of Death Knight-exclusive cloak has been changed when a character put on Cloak of Protection:
  1. the appearance of Death Knight cloak for the 1st place in ratings among Humans has been changed to new one;
  2. the current appearance of Death Knight cloak for the 1st place among races has been changed to the appearance of Cloak of Protection;
  • typos and punctuation issues have been fixed in the names and descriptions of certain items; additional information has also been added;
  • the Clan Luck skill effect applies to bosses as well;
  • the rules of canceling clan wars have been changed:
  1. a clan war can be canceled even if some clan members are in a battle mode;
  2. a clan wars are canceled 10 sec. after the attempt to cancel;
  • now during raids on Antharas and Baium the rule of pickup priority doesn't apply when the first command channel enters the raid zone;
  • NPC Svein (Town of Aden) is now located near Olympiad Manager near Jeweler’s Shop;
  • NPC Priest Ruvard, previously located near the fountain in the Town of Aden, has been removed;
  • the penalty for level difference in the game has been changed:
  1. the penalty for 10-14 level difference in a party between the highest and the lowest level has been removed;
  2. the penalty for level difference of command channel or party members has been increased from level 10 to lvl 11;
  • loot penalty has been changed:
  1. the penalty for level difference between characters and monsters has been increased from lvl 10 to lvl 11;
  • information about Sayha’s Grace, coordinates transfer, magic lantern has been added to the Help section.
  • now during flight on Wyvern it’s impossible to use item skills to teleport to the regions unavailable for flying;
  • the following functions have been removed from the dialog with NPC Fishing Guild Member:
  1. Buying fishing gear/ Angler's Blessing Scroll; 
  2. Exchanging old tickets for weapons.

Bug Fixes

  • the issue causing the EXP boost tooltip not to display when hovering the mouse over the percentage area on the EXP bar, has been fixed;
  • the issue causing the Cripple skill (Tyrant class) being not available to learn higher than level 8, has been fixed;
  • the issue causing monsters in certain parts of Primeval Isle to appear on the trees, has been fixed;
  • the issue causing the doors in the Tower of Insolence, 14th floor, to be locked, has been fixed;
  • the issue causing the looks of a cloak not to be shown if a Death Knight was fishing with a cloak equipped, has been fixed;
  • the issue causing the game client to shut down upon canceling the waiting queue and reconnecting after login, has been fixed;
