The small coastal village in the far corner of Schwartzvald republic has been isolated long enough to avoid attention of Rekenber corporation. Hugel folks don't ask a lot of questions, so the tranquil and quiet settlement became a haven for various mercenaries and other people running from their own past.
Hugel is located in the north east part of the Schwarzvald republic at mountains' bottom, between Thanatos Tower and Abyss Lake. The safest way to reach Hugel is by Airship on Schwarzvald internal route
In the Northern part of the city you can find market square with large grocery shop and armory. Tavern and fireworks shop is closer to the center, while on the way to the Hunter Guild located in the north-east corner you will pass the local church and airship station.
Hugel residents will gladly accept our help both with daily routine and some other situations, which require subtle approach: Cellette Lavit needs additional hands to deliver her Fish Ball Soup, Kurupe is looking for someone to help him milk his cow, little Torpy lost his parents. Some stories are more than meets the eye, like Allen Schuwell's suggestion to get his medicine or El Schatt's desire to cut down the Tree of memory.

Although it was never intended to compete with Comodo, Hugel has something to offer if you enjoy good games and contests, namely the Monster Racing and Bingo.
The races take place every 10 minutes, and players are allowed to place bets on which monster or two monsters will cross the finish line first, depending on the type of race. Players can buy a Monster Ticket for 2,000z per event, with the events alternating between singles and doubles.. Winners of the singles are given 4 Prize Medals, and winners of the doubles are given 15 Prize Medals.
Monsters participating in races are Poring, Lunatic, Savage Babe, Baby Desert Wolf, Deviruchi, and Baphomet Jr., which move roughly with the same speed. The tracks are filled with hidden obstacles, which can put stun or sleep on the monsters.
5 people can play at a time, though there is an option to spectate.
When beginning, players are warped on to one of 5 platforms. Players are given a card with a 5x5 grid, on which they must place the numbers 1 to 25 (without repeats).
Once all the contestants have their cards fill out, the game begins. The announcer will begin calling out numbers one by one. Each time, it'll bring up players' cards to show what they have currently marked. When 5 in a row are called out, that's one bingo. In order to win, players need to have 5 bingos. Once someone has 5, they are given a chance to yell "Bingo!". If they're too slow, or misstype, he'll call another number and they will have to give it another shot. Remember that if more than one person has 5 rows, victory goes to the first one to call "Bingo!".
Once the match is complete, the winner is given 1 Prize Medal. However, should anyone have a bingo within the first 15 numbers called, they are given 50 Prize Medals.
There are two people who exchange the medals for items: Wayne in Hugel, near the entrance to Monster Race and Ei'felle in the Einbroch factory. Ei'felle is interested in metal, which the medals are of, so he needs a lot of them, but the reward is worth it.
Marvelous Medal
A medal crafted from a rare and mysterious metal that can only be found in Hugel. These metals cannot be traded or given to other players.This item cannot be dropped, traded, mailed or vended.

To access the dungeon one needs to activate the column on the northern side of the lake by sacrificng requested dragon parts. Once activated, the column will open the portal to the island in the middle of the lake, which will be available for any player for a short period of time.
The Abyss Lake Dungeon consists of three floors, each floor becoming increasingly difficult. On the final floor, the MVP Detardeurus will appear to stop you from taking his treasures.
