Professions of Midgard: Sorcerer

For many centuries, scientists in Yuno looked for ways to bend the elements of nature at their will, but over the years the results would always be the same: the ones who attempted to subjugate nature would be crushed by its might. In a desperate attempt to find whatever worked, scientists turned to ancient magic books. Nature had not been tamed yet, but they found ways to communicate with the elements.

Twenty years later, the communication pathway was completely ready and scientists began testing how their new inventions would affect well known simple elemental spells. The element of fire was the first one they were able to bend, and then came the others: this is how Sorcerers were created.

Fire Walk

Skill Requirement : Volcano level 1
Creates a trail of fire behind the Caster, dealing Fire element damage to enemies that walk on it.

Spell Fist

Skill Requirement : Hindsight level 4
If the caster uses this skill while casting Fire Bolt or Cold Bolt or Lightening Bolt, the Bolt casting is cancelled but all the bolt's power is concentrated in the caster's hands. While in this state, physical attacks will deal magic damage of the bolt. The amount of damage depends on the skill level. The skill is cancelled when the duration expires or when the max number of hits is reached.

Earth Grave

Skill Requirement :  Earth Spike level 5
Transforms the ground into spears, dealing Earth element damage to targets in its range. This skill has a certain chance to inflict Bleeding status on targets.

Diamond Dust

Skill Requirement : Deluge level 3
Creates freezing winds in an area which causes Water elemental magic damage. Targets in the area will be unable to move, attack, use skills and items. It also drains 2% HP and 1% SP per second from the target.

Poison Burst

Skill Requirement :  Killing Cloud level 2
Manipulates the poison in a target, causing it to explode and deal Poison Element damage. This skill may not be used on Poison Element monsters or targets that are not poisoned. After a successful cast, Poison status is removed from the target.

Psychic Wave

Skill Requirement :  Dispell level 2

Killing Cloud

Creates a poisonous cloud in a 7x7 area, which will continuously deal Poison elemental damage and cause Poison status. All targets that receive damage have a chance to change its elemental attribute to poison property.

Striking

Increase weapon's ATK and Critical rate of caster and party members. Affected target consumes certain amount of SP per second. Increase skill effect depending on required skill level (Endow Blaze / Endow Tsunami / Endow Tornado / Endow Quake )

Warmer

Skill Requirement :  Volcano level 1 / Whirlwind level 1
Increases the temperature in an area, removing Crystallization, Frozen and Freezing status effect from targets in range.

Extreme Vacuum

Varetyr Spear

Summon a huge lightning spear from the sky and give physical and magic damage (Wind property) to 1 target and surrounding enemies. Also has a chance to [Stun] damaged targets.

Arrullo

Spirit Control

Skill Requirement :  Analyze Element level 1
Command a waiting mode spirit to switch its mode to Passive (Buff), Defensive (Defense), Offensive (Attack). To switch the spirit into waiting mode, caster just commands same order one more time. When spirits are in waiting mode, they recover little amount HP and SP continuously.

Analyze Element

Skill Requirement :  Flame Launcher level 1 / Endow Tsunami level 1 / Endow Tornado level 1 / Endow Quake level 1
Analyzes enchanted ores which are used as catalyst items for summoning spirits into pure gemstones. Also, conversely, combine pure gemstones into an enchanted ore.

Spirit Sympathy

Skill Requirement : Spirit Control level 3
Increase summoned spirit's HP, SP and ATK by sharing the feelings between caster and spirits. It also decreases caster's consuming SP.

Spirit Cure

Skill Requirement :  Spirit Sympathy level 1
Recover spirit's HP and SP by consumes 10% HP and SP to recover Elemental's HP and SP for the same amount.. Skill will fail if Caster has lower than 10% HP and SP.

Fire Insignia

Skill Requirement : Call Agni level 3
Draws a fire insignia on the ground within 3 x 3 cells. Recover 1% of HP per 5 seconds if the target is equipped fire property armor or it is a fire property monster. Conversely, decrease 1% of HP per 5 seconds if the target is equipped earth property armor or it is a earth property monster. But all the targets that are inside of skill range get 1.5 times more damage from water property attack. Consume [Scarlet Point 1 / 2 / 3 ] depending on the skill level.

Conversely, decrease 1% of HP per 5 seconds, if the target is equipped fire property armor or it is a fire property monster. But all the targets that are inside of skill range get 1.5 times more damage from wind property attack. Consume [Indigo Point 1 / 2 / 3 ] depending on the skill level.

But all the targets that are inside of skill range get 1.5 times more damage from fire property attack. Consume [Lime Green Point 1 / 2 / 3 ] depending on the skill level.

Elemental Shield

Required Skill : Spirit Control level 3
By expending summoned elemental's magic, sorcerer creates a magical barrier on the cells the caster and party members are standing on. Magical barrier dissipates once its durability reaches 0 or when skill duration ends.
Affects self and all party members within sorcerer's screen.
This magical barrier only blocks melee physical damage and caster's summoned elemental disappears on use.
Consumes 1 blue gemstone.
