Destruction of Morroc
Everyone in Rune-Midgard knows the legend of Thanatos, a fierce warrior that defeated Jotunn Surt, Lord of Muspelheim, who turned the once prosperous lands southwest of Prontera into a lifeless desert. After ten days of battle between the two, Thanatos sealed the demon in the sands of the desert and then completely vanished. Rumors say that his spirit can be found in an ancient tower in the north of the kingdom but no one knows exactly what happened after the Satan of Morroc was defeated.
However Surt was not completely defeated, he was only imprisoned. Unable to break the powerful seal that constrain him under the devil started trying to persuade alienated humans into supporting his escape.
After several attempts, thousands of sacrifices and innumerous rituals, the seal was weakened enough so the nefarious Satan Morroc could break free from his imprisonment. After escaping Surt began to spread death and destruction in Morroc and nearby areas.
The news of this tragedy soon arrived in the Kingdom’s Capital and now the guardians of the crown, led by commander Balrog, are already in the ruins of Morroc to fight this great evil. Their efforts however are clearly not enough to defeat Satan Morroc and the messengers of the crown are desperately seeking for mighty heroes that can join the fight.
Satan Morroc
To access the location where Satan Morroc and his servants are, you need to complete Commander Balrog’s quest. After that you will receive a document that allows you to enter restricted areas. Keep in mind that there is a 6 hour cooldown after Satan Morroc is defeated.

Quests
These are troublesome times for the kingdom. While Satan Morroc continues his destruction rampage in the Sograt Desert, there are rumors that the King has died. In light of the recent incidents, councilors and the aristocracy are discussing a change in the succession system and possibly arrange elections for the next king. Talk to the messenger at the gates of the Castle in Prontera and there is a chance you might influence the fate of your Kingdom.
Also, in an oasis northwest of Morroc the Man with the Book is looking for help to conquer the heart of a girl called Mammy. And what seemed to be a simple task unfolds into an eerie adventure that will reveal the secret of the Crow of Destiny.
The New World
The Kingdom of Rune-Midgard, Arunafeltz and the Schwarzwald Republic decided to send a joint expedition into the rift to explore what is beyond this dimension. The trials are about to start and the competition is serious for only the best of the best will be part of the expedition team. Find the Recruiting agent in The castle in Prontera and enlist yourself. Only heroes of level 70 and above will be considered.
After passing the trials you will be able to enter the New World. When crossing the rift you will immediately get to Midgard’s Allied Camp, where there is plenty of work to be done. Check with Taab for Daily Quests.

Cat Trading
Neither Kafra nor Zonda have established their businesses in the New World yet, opening the possibility for a young company to explore the new market without the competition of the two giants from the old world. Cat trading offers a wide variety of services such as save, storage and warping.
Locations
The first place you will visit in the New World is the Midgard’s Allied Camp led by the Commander Hibba Agip. The camp serves as an outpost for the armed forces, scientists and maintenance personnel from Midgard.
Heading east you will find Manuk, where you can mine unknown minerals and hunt local animals, including the mighty Hardrock Mammoth.
