Story
Rune-Midgard is home to many dangers: Orcs, demons and other evil spirits terrorize the inhabitants of the kingdom. All this however, comes nothing close to the menace that walked this land centuries ago, a powerful archdemon, known back then simply as the Greatest Evil.
Back in the day this Great Demon and his army posed such a dangerous threat that Odin himself handpicked the most gifted monk warrior to lead the human army that would fight back against the Greatest Evil.
The closer the Monk and his fearsome warriors got to the demonic temple that served as the evil creature's headquarters, the smaller their group would get and most of humanity's greatest warriors would fighting the dark army. By the time they finally reached the temple, the once great army had now only 5 men left to fight for the future of mankind.
It was clear from the beginning that this would be their last battle, but as soon as the Greatest Evil started sparring the human warriors, the chosen monk understood that not even the strength of all the best fighters on the planet combined would be enough to defeat their adversary.
The human heroes' only chance was to sacrifice their lives to merely entrap the beast for as long as it was possible. The five men together performed an entrapment ritual, and with the cost of their souls they imprisoned the demon with a powerful soul seal.
“You have only postponed your fate, for the day is inevitable when I, Baphomet, shall return to destroy your world!” - Said the beast while being locked away, making his name heard to humanity for the first time ever and also the last ever since.
The years passed and the once powerful seals started weakening. It is believed that soon Baphomet will come out of his imprisonment and a second battle for humanity’s future will take place.
Dungeon Mechanics
- The Sealed Shrine is a group dungeon for characters from level 75 and above.
- To create a session the group leader has to speak with Father Patrick in the Monastery of St. Catherine.
- You must enter the dungeon within five minutes after creating the session. After that you will need to create another session.
- You can leave the dungeon in the first 5 minutes of the session. After that time runs off all progress will be reset if you are not in the dungeon.
- The duration of the Session is 2 hours.
- After the session ends, the participants will have to wait 12 hours to be able to enter the dungeon again.

Nidhoggur's Nest
Nidhogg... a big dragon devouring the roots of Yggdrasil tree. A harbinger of death, pestilence, and the doom of the world. Even a shadow of her makes the most courageous travelers shudder.
In the New World, not far from Splendid, scientists have discovered a strange cave, in which, according to legend, a terrible monster lives. However, Nidhogg herself has not been seen there for a long time. Only an army of dangerous monsters is roaming the cave, and thickening shadows that are taking the shape of a giant dragon.

— Meet the Splendide Guard (splendide 228, 162) -> (spl_in01 32, 306) to help him find a lost friend.
— Help the Qpet Breeder (mid_camp 146, 306) in Rune Midgard Allied Forces Post to collect the Draco Eggs inside the Nidhoggur's Nest Dungeon.
— Under the giant tree roots find the Gates of Riddle (nyd_dun02 99, 199) entering the passage to the Nidhoggur's Nest Dungeon. Investigate the cave and ask Laphine or Sapha for help.
— Meet the Laphine Craftsman in Splendid (splendide 198, 238). She is ready to buy some items obtained from Aqua Elementals, who made Nidhoggur's Nest Dungeon their home.
— Hunt down several targets inside Nidhoggur's Nest Dungeon for the Manuk Garten (manuk 252, 116)
— Complete Rin’s request, posted on the bulletin board (mid_camp 192, 239) in Rune Midgard Allied Forces Post.
— Walk through the gates (nyd_dun02 99, 199) and purify Nidhoggur's Nest Dungeon by defeating the shadow of the legendary monster at the roots of the great tree. This quest can be repeated every three days. Note, to start this quest you need to complete three other ones: help to find a lost friend of Splendid Guard, complete Rin’s request and explore the Nidhoggur's Nest Dungeon.
