Professions of Midgard: Kagerou & Oboro

In the Amatsu village there was an old rumor that claims that the village is haunted by ghosts. People often reported seeing strange shadows and fast moving blurs on dark alleyways. The elders in town swear that those are the spirits of Kagerou and Oboro, two legendary warriors that tied their destinies under the Sun and the Moon of Amatsu.

The legend of Kagerou and Oboro tells that the duoo not only possessed pristine fighting skills but also the power to control the elements, create illusions and bring the quickest deaths to their targets. Kagerou was the Sun, and Oboro was the Moon, both similar and different from one another; two halves of the same picture, yin and yang.

Getting the job

Go to the abandoned house in the Amatsu Village (amatsu 148, 137), there you must find the secret passageway to the Ninja's Guild Headquarters. There you must speak with the Old Man. 

 

Kagerou & Oboro Skills

Shadow Hiding

Hide yourself with this skill. This is the same as the Rogue's Hide.
Skill disables if SP is fully consumed or if skill is used again. 
Continuously consumes SP while active

Righthand Mastery

Recovers the fading right hand attack when both hands are equipped with a weapon. Attack increases more than at levels 4 and 5 compared to using a weapon with one hand.

Cross Slash

Enemy with cross impact damage will fall into a <cross wound> state for about 3 seconds. 
Attacking an enemy with a cross wound again with a cross impact will inflict more powerful damage. 
The higher the Base level of the caster, the more damage inflicted.

Soul Cutter

Additional damage is inflicted if the target attacked has the Soul Linker Spirit buff.
Forcibly cancels the Spirit skill. The higher the Spirit skill, the more damage is inflicted.

Kunai Explosion

Rapid Throw

Powerup version of the Ninja skill [Throw Coins] Throw up to 100,000 Zeny that has a chance to inflict random slash damage that ignores all enemy defense within a certain range. Targets Ground. Only half of the damage is inflicted to Boss monsters.

Swirling Petal

Pure Soul

Fire Charm

Summons a Fire Spirit using a Fire Charm to increase attack of Fire Property skills.
Can summon up to 10 spirits and your weapon changes to Fire Property once you succeed in summoning 10 spirits.

Ice Charm

Summons an Ice Spirit using an Ice Charm to increase attack of Water Property skills.
Can summon up to 10 spirits and your weapon changes to Water Property once you succeed in summoning 10 spirits. 
Using this skill will consume 1 Ice Charm.

Wind Charm

Summons a Wind Spirit using a Wind Charm to increase attack of Wind Property skills.
Can summon up to 10 spirits and your weapon changes to Wind Property once you succeed in summoning 10 spirits.
Using this skill will consume 1 Wind Charm.

Earth Charm

Summons an Earth Spirit using an Earth Charm to increase the caster's attack and defense.
Can summon up to 10 spirits and your weapon changes to Earth Property once you succeed in summoning 10 spirits.
Using this skill will consume 1 Earth Charm.

Release Ninja Spell

Releases the spiritual energy from the target to inflict damage. Damage Property depends on the property of the summoned spirit Charm.

Cast Ninja Spell

 Transfer your spiritual energy to the earth to create a portal that generates various effects.
[Fire Spirit]
Casts Combust state to all enemies within range. Increases attack if equipped weapon is Fire Property.
[Water Spirit]
Casts either Freezing/Deep Freeze/Congeal state to all enemies within range. Increases attack if equipped weapon is Water Property.
[Wind Spirit]
Casts either Silence/ Sleep/Deep Sleep state to all enemies within range. Increases attack if equipped weapon is Wind Property.
[Earth Spirit]
Casts either Stone Curse/Poison state to all enemies within range. Increases attack if equipped weapon is Earth Property.

Shadow Trampling

Stop targets using specific hiding skills temporarily and forcibly cancel the skill.

Inside the Ninja Guild you can find the blacksmith Tene ( que_ng 75 20). He performs enchants on Ninja gear, and this type of gear alone.

If you did not like the enchantment, it is possible to re-enchant the slots. For that you will first have to clear the enchanted slots. The Reset costs 500.000 zeny, and you can clear either the third slot alone or all slots at once.
