Professions of Midgard: Swordsman — Knight — Lord Knight

The valorous Lord Knights represent the law of Rune-Midgard, maintaining the order in cities and protecting people. Armed with swords and spears, these warriors are brave and determined enough to face any evil. The best Lord Knights can become Rune Knight and use the power of Runestones to control Dragons.

Getting the job
Once you reach job level 10 as a novice and have learned Basic Skills level 9 you can become a Swordsman. For that you need to talk to the Master Swordsman in the Swordsman Guild in Izlude. Once you reach job level 40 and pass the Knight’s guild test you can become a Knight. To become a Lord Knight, you have to reach level 99/50 and find the Book of Ymir in the Sage Castle in Juno.

Quest Skills
Causes rage when HP is below 25%. Has the same effect as a level 10 [Provoke]. Lasts until the character gets into a situation where the effect is cancelled automatically. |
When moving, it recovers 25% more HP than when the character is standing still. When this skill is active, all other HP auto recovery methods do not work. |

Changes in Renewal
Swordsman
Magnum Break
- The delay after casting was reduced from 2 sec to 0,5 sec.
- A skill cooldown: 2 sec.
Knight
Bowling Bash
- Changed the mechanics of the skill. Now opponents in a 5x5 area around the target take double damage and are pushed back.
- When using a two-handed weapon, the damage is inflicted up to 4 times, depending on the number of targets in the area of 5x5 cells.
- The delay after using the skill has been reduced.
- Added a skill cooldown: 1 sec.
Brandish Spear
- Damage type changed to physical ranged damage.
- Changed formula for calculating the damage. Now the skill deals additional damage according to the character’s strength.
- Reduced the cast time for using the skill.
- Added a delay after using the skill: 0,5 sec.
- Added a skill cooldown: 1 sec.
- SP Consumption increased to 24 SP.
Two-Hand Quicken
- Now the skill increases the attack speed (Reduces the delay after the attack by 10%).
- It also increases the chance of critical hit and accuracy according to the skill level. (Skill level 10: Critical +12, HIT +20)
Charge Attack
- Fixed and variable cast times removed
- Added a skill cooldown: 0,5 sec.
