Getting the job
Once you reach job level 10 as a novice and have learned Basic Skills level 9 you can become a Mage. To do that you need to go to Geffen and contact the Mages Guild. To become a Sage, a mage must reach the professional level of 40 and pass an exam at the Castle of the Sages in Juno. To become a professor you need to reach level 99/50 and find the Book of Ymir in the Castle of Sages in Juno.

Fire Bolt/ Cold Bolt/ Lightning Bolt
- The fixed cast time for the skill at level 10 was increased from 0.88 sec to 1.2 sec.
- The variable cast time for the skill at level 10 was reduced from 3.52 sec to 3.2 sec.
- The skill cooldown was significantly reduced.
Thunderstorm
- The fixed cast time for the skill at level 10 was reduced from 1.6 sec to 1.5 sec.
- The variable cast time for the skill at level 10 was reduced from 6.4 sec to 4.5 sec.
Fireball
- The fixed and variable cast time for the skill at level 1-5 was changed and now it is the same as the cast times for the skill at the level 6-10 (0.2 sec. for fixed cast time and 0.8 sec. for variable cast time).

Soul Strike
- Now the skill cooldown is the same for all levels - 1.4 sec. (it was reduced at level 10 from 2.5 sec. to 1.4 sec)
Frost Driver
- The skill Cooldown was reduced from 1.5 sec. to 0.5 sec.
Sage Skills
Volcano / Deluge / Whirlwind
- Now in order to activate the skill a blue gem is needed instead of a yellow one.
- The Skill Volcano now not only increase ATK but also MATK
Endow Blaze / Endow Tsunami / Endow Tornado / Endow Quake
- The fixed cast time was reduced from 3 sec. to 1 sec.
- A variable cast time of 1 Sec. was added.
- Now you need a blue/yellow/green/red gemstone to activate the skills respectively.
- MATK of the corresponding element is increased
- Now the skill has 100% of activation chance
- The skill duration for the level 1-4 was changed.
Hindsight
- Now the level of the activated skill is twice as low as the level of Hindsight and is no longer selected randomly (Unless the learned skill level is even lower).
- The activation chance of Hindsight was changed
- The odds of casting a certain skill is double the Skill Level
- Spells of different skill levels were changes
- levels 1-3: Fire Bolt/ Cold Bolt/ Lightning Bolt
- levels 4-6: Soul Strike/ Fireball
- levels 7-9: Earth Spike/ Frost Driver
- level 10: Thunderstorm/ Heaven’s Drive
Earth Spike
- The fixed cast time for the skill at level 5 was increased from 0.56 sec. to 1.2 sec.
- The variable cast time of the skill at level 5 was increased from 2.24 sec. to 3.2 sec.
- The skill cooldown of the skill at level 5 was reduced from 1.8 sec. to 1.4 sec
- Damage per hit was increased from 100% to 200%
Heaven’s Drive
- The fixed cast time for the skill at level 5 was increased from 0.64 sec. to 0.8 sec.
- The variable cast time for the skill at level 5 was reduced from 3.2 sec. to 1.9 sec.
- The skill cooldown at level 5 was reduced from 1 sec. to 0.5 sec.
