Champions spend years putting their bodies through rigorous training to achieve unparalleled strength and stamina. After reaching peak physical condition they use their prowess to fight evil. Exhausting the possibilities for physical improvement, some Champions set off to see the world and in the process become Suras.

Getting the job

Once you reach job level 10 as a novice and have learned Basic Skills level 9 you can become an Acolyte. To do that you need to go to the Church of Prontera. To become a monk, you need to reach professional level 40 as an Acolyte and go to the Monastery of St. Catherine and prove your strength. To become a Champion, you need to reach level 99/50 and find the Book of Ymir in the Castle of Sages in Juno.

Enables the chance of automatically delivering a triple attack in battle. Combo Chance is 30% regardless of skill level. This skill can be followed up with Raging Quadruple Blow

Quest Skills:
 

Transfer the caster's Spiritual Spheres to a targeted Party Member. Each cast will transfer 1 Spiritual Sphere.
Strike an enemy with the palm to inflict 300% damage, and push away enemies near the target, stunning them for 2 seconds. Each cast consumes a small HP amount.

Champion Skills

Summon 5 Spirit Spheres at one time
Strike an enemy using the palms, pushing back the enemy and causing damage, which is determined by the skill's level, after a 1 second delay. This skill can only be used during the Fury status

Changes in Renewal

Acolyte Skills

Blessing

  • Now the skill also increases the Accuracy of the target (The amount increased depends on the level).

Increase AGI

  • Now the skill also increases the attack speed (The amount increased depends on the level)

Angelus

  • Now the skill also increases the max. HP of the target (The amount increased depends on the level)

Holy Light

  • Fixed and Variable cat times were reduced in 50%.

Monk Skills

Knuckle and Fist Weapon Damage

  • Knuckle and Fist weapons for Monks now do 100% Damage against Small and Medium targets, and 75% Damage against Large targets

Raging Trifecta Blow

  • Trigger chance is 30% on every skill level

Raging Quadruple Blow

  • This skill can only be used immediately after Raging Trifecta Blow or during Level 4 Root status and can be followed up with Raging Thrust. When used as a knuckle weapon, it hits the enemy 6 times with double damage
  • Reduces SP consumption

Guillotine Fist

  • When used in combo, the skill can be used when 1 Spirit Sphere or more remains
  • Increases damage by 100% when 6 Spirit Spheres or more remains
  • SP recovery penalty reduced from to 3 seconds (previously 10 seconds)

Root

  • Effect now lasts 10 seconds
  • Effect duration is reduced to 2 seconds when used on Boss Monsters

Occult Impaction

  • Slightly increases damage
  • When used on target that user caught with Root, skill deals 50% more damage

Throw Spirit Sphere

  • Consumes 1 Spirit Sphere regardless of skill level
  • Slightly increases damage. New damage formula: (600 + (200 x skill level))%ATK
  • When used on target that user caught with Root, skill deals 50% more damage

Spiritual Sphere Absorption

  • Fixed casting time reduced from to 0.5 second (previously 1 second)
  • Removes variable casting time
